The magic of mountain running returns to Luserna on August 23, 2026, with a new edition of the Lusernar Zimbar Loaf: an event that blends sport, culture and territory into a unique and engaging experience.
The race is part of the prestigious “Gran Premio delle Montagne Trentine” circuit, confirming its place among the leading trail running events in the region.
The competitive course, about 9 km long, winds through unspoiled landscapes, historic trails and breathtaking views: a perfect mix of technique and natural beauty to challenge both legs and heart.
But the Lusernar Zimbar Loaf is also an inclusive event: alongside the main race, the “Lusernar Zimbar Von Famildje” takes place – a non-competitive run open to families, children, friends and walkers who want to enjoy the spirit of the event in a relaxed and social way.
A day designed for everyone, focused on sport, wellbeing and discovering the area, enriched by local products, smiles and the warm hospitality of the Luserna community.

- Elevation gain: 350 m
- Surface: mostly forest gravel roads, <10% asphalt
- Marking: red ribbons and volunteers along the route

Participation reserved for athletes registered with FIDAL, Runcard, Mountain & Trail Runcard, or EPS, with valid medical certification. Only FIDAL members compete for the championship.
