For the 2025/26 winter season, Alpe Cimbra in Folgaria will inaugurate one of the most anticipated projects of recent years: the New 10-seat Leitner Gondola, a state-of-the-art lift that replaces one of the resort’s historic cable cars, in operation since the 1970s.
A fast, panoramic connection
The new gondola connects Francolini (1,178 m) to Sommo Alto (1,620 m), covering 2.8 km in just 8 minutes. The cabins, spacious and comfortable, are equipped with internal racks for skis and snowboards and offer a modern, quiet travel experience—ideal for families and sports enthusiasts.
A new slope for an even more complete experience
A distinctive feature of the project is the new Francolini Slope, 3.2 km long, set in the woods and served by a state-of-the-art TechnoAlpin snowmaking system that guarantees perfect snow throughout the winter season.
Summer and winter: a four-season facility
The gondola will also operate in summer (from May to October), becoming a convenient link for hikers, bikers and families. The enclosed cabins allow the safe transport of bicycles, strollers, backpacks and pets, making Alpe Cimbra even more accessible and sustainable.
