Bolkhent – Winter welcomes you to Alpe Cimbra

Winter has arrived, and the most awaited atmosphere of the year is already felt in Alpe Cimbra.

The streets of Folgaria are filled with the scent of festivities, lights, colors, and that authentic warmth that makes every meeting special. It’s the perfect time to let yourself be enchanted by the magic of Christmas and the hospitality that characterizes our territory.

A new season opens up, designed for those who love to experience the mountains outdoors, but also for those who wish to indulge in moments of relaxation, rediscovering local traditions and flavors.

Bolkhent, which in Cimbrian means welcome, is the event with which we officially inaugurate winter and welcome all those who wish to share with us the magic of this season.

The appointment

Saturday 5 December 2026

6:00 p.m. – Piazzetta Villa, Folgaria

The evening will kick off with a suggestive parade in the town center, accompanied by the Folkloric Band of Folgaria. The procession will reach Piazza S. Lorenzo, where the traditional moment of lighting the large Christmas tree will take place.

Masters of the Ski Schools of Alpe Cimbra will also be present, ready to share the emotions that await both young and old on the over 100 km of slopes of the plateau.

Adding charm to the parade will be the beautiful Bernese Mountain Dogs from the amateur group Grabber, the stars of a truly special moment.

At the end of the parade

Warm mulled wine and spiced hot tea will await you, offered to all participants, to toast together to the beginning of the winter season.

We look forward to sharing the warmth of Alpe Cimbra and savoring, together, our most authentic product: winter.
