A journey through taste and tradition!
At the heart of the festival, the food stand invites you on a sensory journey:
- sweet and savory dishes made with chestnuts, prepared with creativity and respect for tradition,
- fragrant roasted chestnuts just off the fire,
- recipes that combine local flavors and genuine km 0 ingredients,
- surprising pairings, from bread with chestnut flour to artisan pastries.
But the Festival is not just about taste, it's a well-rounded experience:
- the farmers' market featuring products from the valley,
- the taste trekking and walks along the Chestnut Trail, immersed in the colors of foliage,
- moments of music, gatherings, and tradition that make every visitor feel part of the community.
FULL PROGRAM
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24
1:30 p.m. – Mini autumn bike ride, mountain bike school Vigolana, suitable for youth, duration about 1 hour, roasted chestnuts and drink on return, meeting point at Hotel al Sindech. Use of helmet is mandatory. Sign-ups with Marco Bianchini, € 5.00 (by October 22 via sms to 347 5019590 or by email to marcobianchinimtb@gmail.com). 2:00 p.m. – Bar opening, roasted chestnuts and fresh product sales
2:30 p.m. – Chestnut Trekking with SAT, through the hamlets of Centa, with cultural entertainment. Intermediate refreshment and barley soup with roasted chestnuts on return. Meeting point at the ancient chestnut tree, duration about 5 hours, length 7 km, 430 m elevation gain. The route is mostly in the woods, with some short sections of steep inclines. It is advisable to wear suitable shoes for dirt paths and to bring a flashlight or headlamp.

3:00 p.m. – Demonstration of pruning an ancient chestnut tree.
7:00 p.m. – Chestnut grower's dinner, barley soup with Trentino barley and roasted chestnuts.
7:30 p.m. – Dance evening, ballroom dancing with Mauro and Katia Borgogno.
10:00 p.m. – Festival closing.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25
10:00 a.m. – Bar opening, roasted chestnuts and fresh product sales.
10:00 a.m. – Opening of the market for local products and artisans.
10:00 a.m. - Opening of the luck box game in favor of the local Caritas
10:00 a.m. - Opening of the school museum at the "Casa Azzurra".
11:00 a.m. – Planting new tree in Centa park.
12:00 p.m. – Chestnut grower's lunch - menu: gnocchi with chestnuts in cheese fondue, lasagna with chestnuts and chestnut béchamel, polenta with wild boar stew and chestnuts, barley soup with chestnuts, pastry desserts with chestnuts, strauben with chestnut flour.
2:00 p.m. – Animation for kids and ancient games.
10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. – Chestnut Walk: departure from the ancient chestnut tree, suitable for everyone, with a local guide and tasting of local products. Sign-ups with Alpe Cimbra, € 10 - click here to sign up

Shuttle bus service active from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., for those coming from Caldonazzo, from the Conci location, near Speck Stube.
