On Alpe Cimbra, the Fiaccolata of the Historical Ski School of Folgaria on Monday, 16.02.2026, at Costa di Folgaria is a journey through time, an emotion that warms the heart in the magic of snow illuminated by fire. The torches dance in the darkness, creating golden reflections on the snow, while skiers in vintage attire gracefully descend the slope with ancient charm. Each turn tells a story, and every lit torch is a link between the past and the present.
Children, with eyes full of wonder, follow the luminous procession, becoming part of a dream that ignites in the wintry night. The crackling of the fire, the rustle of snow under the skis, the warmth of the gathered community: everything merges into a magical and timeless atmosphere.
And at the end, amidst the scent of mulled wine and the glow of the flames, remains the enchantment of an unforgettable evening, where the history of skiing comes to life under the starry sky of Alpe Cimbra.
The torchlight show is open to children who become protagonists with their bright torches in a special evening accompanied by the instructors of the Folgaria Ski School - SIGN UP HERE
Program:
- 8:00 PM – Gathering for the torchlight parade participants
- From 8:30 PM – DJ set and light show to set the mood
- 8:45 PM – Start of the Children’s Carnival Torchlight Show with masks and costumes
- 9:00 PM – Performance by the Ski Instructors of Folgaria, showcasing historical ski equipment, followed by the Grand Torchlight Show
Afterwards:
- Awards for the three most original and fun masks
- Mulled wine for adults
- Hot polenta for everyone
- Cotton candy for the little ones
