ACES – Mountain Destination: the future of alpine sports is being written in Trentino
On May 23, 2026, the mountains of Alpe Cimbra will host the II Conference “ACES – Mountain Destination: the mountain for everyone: sports, accessibility, and community”, an international meeting promoted by ACES Europe, by the APT Alpe Cimbra, and the European Community of Sport 2025. An event that will bring together in Trentino the European mountain destinations awarded the ACES recognition, aiming to strengthen the network of sports in the mountains and build a common, sustainable, and innovative vision for the alpine future.
Three days of discussions between institutions, sports federations, tourism representatives, and international stakeholders, to share best practices, develop new projects, and make sports a key tool for growth, integration, and social cohesion in high mountain areas.
At the heart of the debate: accessibility, sports, inclusion, and dialogue with communities.
With the Municipality of Folgaria leading and the participation of excellence from all over Europe, Alpe Cimbra confirms its active role in bringing about real change, capable of inspiring the future of highlands through sports.
