A Breath of Art 2025 - The sixth edition of A Breath of Art

June 28 – September 28

A Breath of Art - A unique initiative, capable of generating deep connections between artists, territories, and inhabitants, thanks to a network of regional curators where for twenty years Italian and international artists have lived in residence in the territories to create site-specific works, promoting an authentic dialogue between art, community, landscape, and traditions.

A unique initiative, capable of generating deep connections between artists, territories, and inhabitants, thanks to a network of regional curators. Over time, A Breath of Art has developed the ability to create works in which communities recognize themselves, enhancing historical memories, new forms of aggregation, and the cultural richness of artists, generating unprecedented cultural syncretisms.

A Breath of Art 2025 also in Luserna, one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy

In the heart of Alpe Cimbra, at an altitude of 1333 meters, where Luserna stands, a Trentino village known for its strong cultural identity and its ancient language — the cimbro, “zimbar” for the locals — a Germanic language brought by the colonizers of the Empire in the 12th century. It is not just a dialect, but a living heritage that can be found in folk songs, stories from the elders, and bilingual signs.

The 2025 edition proposes an artistic path that unites nature, history, and tradition, with stops such as the Luserna Museum — which tells history and traditions through sound archives and immersive paths — and the Haus von Prükk, a farmhouse-museum that reflects glimpses of daily life from the early 20th century.

Among the thematic trails stands out the magical Path of the Imagination, inhabited by gnomes and spirits of the woods, and the Path from Stories to History, which intertwines nature and memory of the Great War. Guarding the village is the majestic Forte Werk Lusérn, austere Austro-Hungarian sentinel.

In this rich cultural context is inserted the contemporary art of Stefano Caimi. Curated by the architect and designer Valerio Panella, a passionate advocate of sustainable art and regional curator since the first edition, the initiative confirms its vocation to blend environment, history, and creativity into a unique and engaging experience.

The inauguration will take place on Saturday, June 28 at 11:00 AM at Piazza Marconi.

Breathe the art that springs from the earth, water, and the silence of the woods: a true breath of fresh air for the spirit and mind.
