The art of bobbin lace

The making process is typical of Luserna-Lusérn in fact, in 1883, the Ministry of Education in Vienna established the Professional School of three years to teach the craft to many girls. The Central Lace Course in Vienna dealt with the specialization of teachers, the supply of drawings and teaching materials and the marketing of lace.

Since 1996 there is a lace school promoted and supported by the Cimbrian Institute - Kulturinstitut Lusérn.
