UNA BOCCATA D'ARTE 2025 EDITION

Contemporary art in Luserna: “Stasi” by Stefano Caimi for Una Boccata d’Arte 2025

On the occasion of the sixth edition of Una Boccata d'Arte, the charming Cimbrian village of Luserna, in Trentino-Alto Adige, hosts Stasi – ecosystemic balances in progress, a site-specific installation designed by Stefano Caimi and curated by Valerio Panella. The work can be visited from 28 June 2025 and represents a unique cultural event in the panorama of contemporary art in Trentino.

The project explores the delicate balance of Alpine forests, put at risk by climate change and the action of the bark beetle, a parasite favored by increasingly mild winters. The installation uses cables suspended between living and dead trees to represent the cycles of life, death and rebirth of the forest, offering an intense reflection on the fragility of mountain ecosystems.

Luserna, with its history linked to the Cimbrian culture and the Haus von Prükk ethnographic museum, is the ideal place to welcome this immersive narrative between nature and art. The intervention is part of the broader context of Una Boccata d'Arte, the project promoted by the Elpis Foundation which enhances small Italian villages with contemporary artistic installations, spreading visual culture in a participatory and sustainable way.

Discover Luserna and live an authentic experience of art, nature and tradition in the heart of Alpe Cimbra.
