THE ARTIST - STEFANO CAIMI

Stefano Caimi (Merate, 1991) graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic of Turin, and currently lives and works in Montevecchia, Lombardy. His works and installations have been exhibited in personal and collective exhibitions in Italy and abroad, in particular: SMACH – Biennale delle Dolomiti, Val Badia (IT); Dancing in the Ash, The Flat – Massimo Carasi, Milan (IT); EARTH – A Collective Landscape, AkzoNobel Art Foundation, Amsterdam (NL); Nexus, Echoes, and Connections, Sarah Crown, New York (USA); Dolomiti Contemporanee, Casso (IT). His work is part of several public and private collections, including the Anthropocene Collection of the MUSE of Trento (IT), In4Art (NL) and AkzoNobel Art Foundation (NL). He actively collaborates with Dolomiti Contemporanee and with the Alpine Environment Studies Center of the University of Padua. Since 2019 he has been a Computer Art teacher at NABA - Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan, where he holds a course focused on how digital media have changed the way of thinking, making and distributing art in the last century.
