A journey between taste and tradition!
At the center of the festival, the food stand invites you on a sensory journey:
- sweet and savory dishes made with chestnut, prepared with creativity and respect for tradition,
- fragrant roasted chestnuts just off the fire,
- recipes that combine local flavors and genuine km 0 ingredients,
- surprising pairings, from bread to chestnut flour to artisanal desserts.
But the Festival is not just about taste, it is a complete experience:
- the farmers' market with local valley products,
- the trekking with taste and walks along the Chestnut Path, immersed in the colors of foliage,
- the creative workshops for children, which turn chestnuts into play and discovery,
- moments of music, gatherings, and tradition that make every visitor feel part of the community.
FULL PROGRAM
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24
2:00 p.m. – Opening of the bar, roasted chestnuts, and sale of fresh products.
2:30 p.m. – Chestnut Trekking with SAT, through the hamlets of Centa, with cultural entertainment. Intermediate refreshment and barley drink with roasted chestnuts on return -
Meeting at the ancient chestnut tree, duration approximately 5 hours, distance 7 km, 430 m of elevation gain. Route mostly in the woods, with brief sections of steep slopes, not suitable for strollers or similar. It is recommended to wear appropriate shoes for dirt paths and to bring a flashlight or headlamp.

2:30 p.m. – Mini autumn bike ride, Mtb school Vigolana, suitable for kids over 11 years, duration approximately 2.5 hours, roasted chestnuts and drink on return, meeting at the ancient chestnut tree. Helmet use is mandatory. Registrations at Alpe Cimbra, 15 € - click here to register
3:00 p.m. – Pruning demonstration of an ancient chestnut tree, location Uezi at the road junction loc. Wolfi.
7:00 p.m. – Chestnut grower's dinner, barley drink with Trentino barley and roasted chestnuts.
7:30 p.m. – Dance night, ballroom dancing with Mauro and Katia Borgogno.
10:00 p.m. – Festival closure.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 25
10:00 a.m. – Opening of the bar, roasted chestnuts, and sale of fresh products.
10:00 a.m. – Opening of the market for local products and artisans.
From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – Casa Campregher – exhibition of the Caldonazzo Folk Group
11:00 a.m. – Planting of a new tree in Centa park.
12:00 p.m. – Chestnut grower's lunch
2:00 p.m. – Opening of kids' animation and ancient games.

Useful information
Shuttle bus service: 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., for those coming from Caldonazzo, from the Conci area, at Speck Stube.
