Where magic is born

When winter wraps around Alpe Cimbra, everything slows down. The woods grow silent, the snow covers everything, and the crisp air invites you to go outside and enjoy the wonders of nature. It is here, among snow-covered larches and views that fade into the clear blue sky, that the mountain reveals its true essence: that of slowness, well-being, and a deep connection with the soul of the land.

Those who choose to experience it without skis on their feet discover an authentic world made of paths and wonder: snowshoeing, forest bathing sessions, snow yoga, and sunset meditations become mindfulness experiences, where each gesture brings new awareness.

The village of Lusérn, listed among the most beautiful in Italy, holds history and culture in an atmosphere suspended in time. Its stone houses, the scent of firewood, and the still-spoken Cimbrian language tell the ancient soul of the Alpe, to be discovered with a visit to the Lusérn Museum.

In Lavarone, on the other hand, stands the Vaia Dragon, a majestic wooden sculpture symbolizing rebirth and resilience, born from the remains of the storm of the same name in 2018. Not far away, Lake Lavarone becomes a jewel of ice loved by Freud, while the “Breathing Forest Trail” in Lavarone, the “Fairy Tale Trail” in Vigolana, and the “Imaginary Trail” in Lusérn amaze young and old alike with their fairytale atmospheres.

With the arrival of Christmas, Alpe Cimbra dresses up for the holidays with the Lavarone Christmas Market, scheduled for November 29–30, December 6–7–8, 13–14, 20–24, and from December 26 to January 5. Meanwhile, from December 5 to 8 in Bosentino, “Artisans in Bosentino” returns, with live music, workshops, and local flavors.

Among the most eagerly awaited events is the spectacular Krampus Parade, scheduled for December 8 in Bosentino and December 20 in Lavarone. These mythical and terrifying creatures parade through fire, drums, and carved masks, bringing the thrill of folklore to the heart of the festivities.Experiencing Alpe Cimbra in winter means immersing yourself in a world where nature, culture, and tradition merge into a single unforgettable experience, warming the heart with a magic that tastes of pure Trentino authenticity.
