The winter that moves you: where events become experiences

There is a mountain that knows how to welcome you—one that doesn’t impose itself with excess, but wins you over with its authenticity.
This is Alpe Cimbra, in Trentino: an immense alpine pasture suspended between forests, snow-covered peaks, and villages scented with wood and conviviality.
Here, every season becomes a story. And events are not simple appointments, but occasions to experience the mountains in a true, elegant, human way.

1) A winter of emotions and light
Winter on Alpe Cimbra begins with a calendar of events that speak of Christmas, traditions, and culture:
The following weeks light up with the magic of Christmas: the Christmas Markets of Lavarone and Bosentino bring back the atmosphere of the past, with warm lights, mulled wine, and authentic craftsmanship.
Then comes Bolkhent, the parade-show that turns the center of Folgaria into a stage of creativity, tradition, and style; Christmas at the Haus von Pruekk in Lusérn, one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy, to relive the traditional Cimbrian Christmas; and Zena Poreta in Lavarone, where everyone dines together by candlelight, tasting the simple yet flavorful dishes of ancient Trentino customs.
And for those who love nature in its purest form, the moonlit snowshoe hikes or the excursions to the illuminated Hofentol Waterfall offer moments of silence, contemplation, and wonder.

2) The night that lights up the heart. New Year’s Eve on the Alpe
When the calendar marks New Year’s Eve, Alpe Cimbra becomes a mosaic of celebrations and emotions:
from Folgaria, where the 90s rhythm of the Millennium Party brings back energy and nostalgia, to Lavarone, which celebrates with an elegant 90 Special.
Meanwhile, the ski slopes glow with the Torchlight Parades of the Ski Instructors, a classic that unites generations under the same starry sky. Hundreds of ski instructors will create magnificent choreographies illuminated only by the soft glow of their torches—and perhaps under a beautiful snowfall!

3) A mountain to live, not just to watch
From January onward, the snow becomes the stage for major sporting events and exclusive moments. Naturally, the Christmas holidays cannot end without the great Befana Party in Folgaria, where dozens of Befanas, dancing to music, create an incredible show.
Those who love skiing can wake up at dawn with Trentino Ski Sunrise, when the sun tints the untouched slopes pink and breakfast in the mountain hut tastes of authenticity. An event not to be missed for those who want to ski at sunrise on perfectly snow-covered and groomed slopes, accompanied by ski instructors.
Sports enthusiasts will find plenty to enjoy: the Prove Libere Tour, the Tour delle Alpi, the FIS Children Cup, and also inclusive races such as the FISDIR Ski Race Cup, proof of a mountain that welcomes everyone.

And then there is the charm of water turning into ice:
Lake Lavarone hosts the historic appointments of Under-Ice Diving, where divers from all over Europe plunge into the crystal-clear silence beneath the frozen lake.
An extreme yet poetic experience, telling the rarest side of the mountain.

4) The lightness of celebration
Toward the end of winter, when the days grow longer and the air smells of sunshine, smiles and conviviality return.
The Aperitivo Bianco brings elegance to the streets of Folgaria, the Ski Vintage Party revives the 80s among snow and music, Fora Febraro, Verprenan in Merz in San Sebastiano and Vorprennen in Martzo – Bruciamo il Marzo in Lusérn, while during Attento al Lupo families play together with joy and light-heartedness.
It is the mountain that has fun, that dances, that doesn’t need to appear—because it knows how to be remembered.

5) A mountain that stays in the heart
Every event of Alpe Cimbra is designed for those who are not satisfied with simply “doing,” but seek to feel.
For those who believe that a holiday is a moment to reconnect with oneself, with nature, with the simple beauty of things done well.
Alpe Cimbra is not just a destination, but a way of being: an invitation to slow down, breathe, and share.
