The lake that Freud liked...

To the Alpe Cimbra, and in particular to Lavarone with its splendid lake, this year too an important recogniton has been assigned, on the subject of eco-sustainability: the 2022 "Blue Flag", which rewards the sensitivity of institutions and citizens towards the environmental issues, in the awareness that the territory is the most important resource in the area.

Blue Fag is an international award established in 1987 and awarded by the Fee (Foundation for Environmental Education) to coastal resorts in 53 countries that respect the marine ecosystem through sustainable land management. 
In 2022, 427 Italian beaches (10 per cent of the world total) were awarded to 210 municipalities.
Among these municipalities is precisely Lavarone, awarded as a Blue Flag lake resort. 

All around there are beatiful walks both on foot and on horseback, as well as trails for mountain biking.  

Since 2021, Lavarone Lake is also plastic free, thanks to the initiative of economic operators whose commitment aims towards the reduction of the environmental impact crated by waste and the nonuse plastic materia. In the pursuit of sustainability, the lake is also accessible to disabled people, thanks to the availability in the shores of the aids that allow access to the water. 

It is from love for the territory and by the desire to preserve it of its operators, restaurateurs, farmers and hoteliers, that was born the desire to make the tourist proposal on the Alpe Cimbra eco-sustainable.
The desire to become a model for the protection of nature and biodiversity of the Alpine arc, supporter of a bio catering to safeguard the productions and local cultivations.

Those who choose Lavarone opts for a green ethics in their holidays: from excursions to recycling laboratories, from farms to cultivation of local products, from food and wine to catering, everything will allow you to live in an environment where the rhythms slown down, where you really experience the surrounding territory, where you can draw new energy from woods, streams, clean air.
