Alpe Cimbra is ready to embrace the most colorful and festive period of the year with a rich calendar of Carnival events that combine tradition, sports, Alpine culture, and entertainment for both residents and visitors. From the White Aperitif to the evocative torchlight parades of the ski schools, up to the traditional Carnival parties organized in collaboration with local associations, the program offers an authentic and original Carnival experience designed for families, enthusiasts, and visitors.

Main events include:

White Aperitif – Folgaria
Saturday, February 14
 
In the historic center of Folgaria, the traditional White Aperitif takes place, an elegant and enchanting event for the whole family. From late afternoon, the town’s streets transform into a refined setting of lights, reflections, and magical atmospheres. Delicious culinary offerings, live music, street performances, and entertainment accompany the evening in a shared festive moment. The recommended dress code is carnival-themed to fully immerse yourself in the spirit of the event.

Torchlight Parade of Ski Instructors – Lavarone, Bertoldi

Amid sparkling snow and glowing torches, the traditional torchlight parade of the Lavarone Ski School instructors offers a truly spectacular show. At sunset, the slopes light up in an exciting luminous procession celebrating the mountains, winter, and the skiing tradition of Alpe Cimbra. Everyone can take part and experience the unique Carnival atmosphere on the snow firsthand.

Carnival Party – Costa di Folgaria

Traditional cuisine, shows, and activities for children bring a family-oriented Carnival party to life, full of music, colors, and the joy typical of this season.

Grand Historic Ski Torchlight Parade & Laser Lights Show – Costa di Folgaria

The Historic Ski Torchlight Parade of the Italian Ski School of Folgaria is one of the most iconic Carnival events on Alpe Cimbra. A true journey back in time, where ski instructors, dressed in vintage clothing and using wooden skis, recall the origins of Alpine skiing and its deep connection with the territory.
Children over 6 can actively participate in the parade with their own torches. The event also features live music, snowcat shows, fire performances, Celtic music by the Berserker group, and a stunning Laser Lights Show. The atmosphere is completed with moments of conviviality, mulled wine, and awards for the three most original and entertaining masks.

Carnival Party with the Alpini – Lavarone Gionghi
Tuesday, February 17
Gnocchi, hot tea, mulled wine, and children’s entertainment create a Carnival celebration focused on tradition, organized in collaboration with the Alpini. An afternoon of masks, colors, and fun.

Carnival in Vigolana
