1) The Christmas Markets
The Trentino mountains of Alpe Cimbra once again dress up for the festivities with two unmissable events that truly encapsulate the charm of the Alpine Christmas: the Lavarone Christmas Market, from 29 November 2025 to 5 January 2026, and Artisans in Bosentino – The Christmas Market, from 5 to 8 December 2025.
Two events that bring together tradition, craftsmanship, gastronomy, and folklore, offering an authentic experience in the heart of Alpe Cimbra, one of the most enchanting destinations in Trentino.
 
2) A village dressed in Christmas
The village of Bertoldi veci in Lavarone transforms into an open-air nativity scene. Warm lights illuminate the cobbled streets, ancient stone arcades, the “volti”, and wooden huts hosting dozens of exhibitors showcasing local crafts and typical products.
Among the proposals: Christmas decorations, wooden and ceramic objects, handmade jewellery, traditional sweets, and Alpine delicacies.

3) Artisans in Bosentino – The Christmas Market
From 5 to 8 December 2025, the village of Bosentino will host Artisans in Bosentino – The Christmas Market. At the Bosentino sports hall, visitors will be able to discover handmade artisan creations, local gastronomy products, live music, and workshops for children.
Merchants, artisans, and hobbyists from the area will showcase their creations and specialties, offering residents and tourists alike the chance to experience an authentic and convivial Christmas.

4) Top Events: the Krampus Parade
Among the most eagerly awaited events of the 2025 Christmas programme is the spectacular Krampus Parade, featuring the legendary demonic creatures of Alpine tradition.

Sunday, 8 December – 3:30 p.m. at the Artisans’ Markets in Bosentino
Saturday, 20 December – 5:00 p.m. in the evocative setting of the Lavarone Christmas Market

The Krampus will arrive wearing hand-carved masks, goat skins, wooden hooves, and menacing horns. They will then parade in a procession of fire, noise, and mystery, turning the market streets into an open-air theatre.
An event of great visual and cultural impact. Folklore, legend, and spectacle come together; fear mingles with fun, and tradition meets the magic of Christmas.

5) Alpe Cimbra: the heart of Trentino’s Christmas markets
