A Record-Breaking Weekend at the Folgaria Lavarone Ski Area

The past weekend recorded over 22,000 first-time entries at the Folgaria Lavarone ski area, marking a historic record for the number of skiers who chose this Trentino ski destination at this time of the season.
Perfect slopes thanks to the recent snowfall, sunshine and ideal temperatures, together with the opening of the new gondola lift in Francolini, created the perfect conditions for skiing.

Skiers expressed great satisfaction with the new Francolini–Sommo Alto gondola lift and with the reopening of the renovated Francolini slope, which, with its 3.5 km length, thrilled visitors.
There was also a very high turnout at the Passo Coe and Millegrobbe cross-country centers, which welcome Nordic skiing enthusiasts with all trails open and an excellent offer for snowshoers, featuring dedicated, marked, and signposted routes.

A major new feature launched on Saturday: three marked and signposted ski mountaineering routes—one at Coston dei Fiorentini and two in Francolini—allowing uphill travel with climbing skins and downhill skiing on the adjacent ski area slopes during lift operating hours.

The ski area completes and enriches its offering thanks to its collaboration with Apt Alpe Cimbra, introducing this important new activity and expanding its range with many experiences beyond alpine skiing.
