Summer Azzurra 2026: Italbasket returns to Folgaria
The men's national basketball team returns to Alpe Cimbra for the traditional summer training camp. From August 10 to 20, 2026, the Azzurri will be in Folgaria to prepare for upcoming international commitments related to the qualification process for the 2027 World Championships.
The athletes, led by CT Luca Banchi, will stay at the Golf Hotel and train at the Palazzetto dello Sport in Piazzale Nazioni Unite, with sessions open to the public :

Following, transfer to Trento
Closing the retreat will be the Trentino Basket Cup, now in its twelfth edition: Italy will face Estonia on Saturday, August 22 at 7.30 p.m. at the BTS Arena. An unmissable event for fans and enthusiasts, marking the return of the Azzurri to Trento.
The retreat once again confirms the strong bond between the Italian Basketball Federation and Trentino, with Alpe Cimbra increasingly establishing itself as the ideal destination for the preparation of major sporting events, thanks to quality facilities, nature, and excellent hospitality.
