Christmas Market of Lavarone – A journey through lights, scents, and traditions
From November 28, 2026, the Christmas Market of Lavarone returns for its sixth edition, in the beautiful setting of the historical center of Bertoldi veci, in the heart of the Alpe Cimbra, in Trentino.
A fairytale place, where time seems to have stopped and every corner tells ancient stories, preserved between stone walls and porticos that once hosted rural life.

A village dressed for Christmas
The village of Bertoldi veci transforms into an open-air nativity scene: soft lights, wooden houses, cobbled alleys, and ancient “faces” adorned for the celebration. Here, dozens of exhibitors offer local crafts, typical Trentino products and unique gift ideas: decorations for the Christmas tree, wooden handicrafts, artistic ceramics, handmade jewelry, and gastronomic delights of the alpine tradition.
As visitors stroll among the stalls, they can be enveloped by the scent of mulled wine, cinnamon, freshly baked strudel, as well as enjoy warm strauben, steaming canederli, and creamy polenta, along with Christmas sweets and hot chocolate.
