The Zéna Poréta – The poor dinner by candlelight
Tuesday December 29, 2026 – 8:00 p.m.
The most authentic appointment of the winter festivities on Alpe Cimbra returns: The Zéna Poréta, the famous “poor dinner” by candlelight, which has become a symbol of community, memory, and tradition over the years.
This evening is born from the desire to remember the simplicity and warmth of the “old-time” festivities, when families gathered around the table to share a humble meal, carefully prepared with genuine ingredients and a strong desire to be together.
It was a moment of reflection and gratitude, where food was not abundance but a gesture of love and sharing.
Today, the Zéna Poréta reintroduces that authentic spirit, inviting everyone to turn off the lights for an evening and let themselves be illuminated only by candles and smiles, enjoying dishes that tell the story and roots of our mountain.
Even more special will be the potato polenta, carefully prepared by the Confraternity of Pult, the guardian of a culinary tradition that smells of mountains and ancient flavors.
Traditional menu:
- Pasta and beans
- Bread, local cheese
- Potato polenta
- Salad cabbage
- Strudel
- Local wine and Lavaròn water
As a reminder of a special dinner, you can keep the bowl, glass, and ladle that will be provided for the meal
To enrich the atmosphere, there will also be live music, for an even more engaging and evocative experience.
