A mountain of ecology!
On Saturday, August 1, the center of Folgaria (Piazza Marconi) will host the Green Kids Village, a special day dedicated to families, children, and all those who want to approach the themes of respect for nature and mountain preservation in an engaging and fun way.
Throughout the day, workshops, creative activities, and animation moments organized by Alpe Cimbra will be proposed, aimed at raising awareness among adults and children about the importance of adopting more conscious and sustainable behaviors.
Within the Green Kids Village, the Summer Eco Tour will also make a stop, the traveling village that energizes some of Italy's most renowned tourist locations with activities and initiatives dedicated to ecology and sustainability, through direct public involvement.
Among the most fun proposals of the day, there will also be “The Games of the Past”: a real dive into the past with many traditional activities designed to entertain both young and old as in days gone by.
A special opportunity to learn while having fun, to experience the mountain authentically, and to discover together the value of sustainability.
PROGRAM:
From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. – Piazza Marconi - Opening of the Summer Eco Tour village with rotating #funlearning appointments throughout the day, a sustainability-themed play area always available, quiz with prizes, and much more
From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Via Roma – The games of the past
At 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. - Piazza San Lorenzo – Leaf Hunt – Workshop for children and families
At 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. - Piazza San Lorenzo – Let's build our little flowered frame - Workshop for children and families
At 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. – Summer Eco Cup: the quiz about nature and sustainability for little eco-heroes - Piazza Marconi
The Summer Eco Tour promotes:
- the spread of a green consciousness
- personal and collective responsibility towards the planet
- more sustainable daily behaviors, learning to manage resources, reduce waste, and adopt responsible practices, even in the mountains
