Vigolo Vattaro–Valesel di Mezzo Trail

An easy walk through the woods with views of the Vigolana

Starting point: Maso Pegoretti parking area
Route: Out-and-back along the same path
Duration: approx. 45 minutes (one way) – 1h30 total
Difficulty: easy
Suitable for strollers: yes
Recommended period: all year round

The walk starts from the Maso Pegoretti parking area and follows a comfortable forest road along trail SAT 429 towards Maranza.

After about 10 minutes, you reach a first panoramic point featuring a blue heart with the inscription “1958 Fanfani”, along with an information panel explaining its meaning. Continuing along the same path, you arrive at the shrine “Strada per Maranza” (850 m).

From here, keep left, continuing along trail SAT 429. In less than half an hour, you reach the panoramic point of Valesele di Mezzo, offering wide views over the surrounding area: from Monte Paol to the Tre Cime del Bondone, up to Monte Stivo and, on clear days, Monte Altissimo and Monte Baldo.

To the left, the profile of the Vigolana dominates, where you can also recognise the characteristic “Orsa”.

The return follows the same route, passing through a particularly pleasant and shaded beech forest.

A simple and accessible itinerary, also suitable for families, combining ease of walking with wide panoramic views.
