Birthplace

St. Paolina’s birth house is located close to the historical city center of Vigolo Vattaro and faces a lovely, little square.
The building is well taken care of by The Little Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, who belong to the Order founded by Paolina in Brazil and came to Vigolo in the eighties.
You need to enter the basement in order to see the rooms where she used to live. The site is well-preserved and restored and is made of four rooms: the main room, which you can find near the stairs, was the area where her family would spend the day, whereas the three rooms at the back were, the children’s bedroom, the kitchen, and the parents’ bedroom, where Paolina was also born.
It is possible to visit the house, which turned into a pilgrimage destination, by asking the Sisters who live nearby.
