Zonta Melegna Hut, located at 1550 m above the sea level, is one of the most suggestive points of interest in Folgaria on the Alpe Cimbra. It extends for 4 hectars above Tuono military base in Passo Coe, framed by a beautiful alpine pasture with a rich biodiversity.
The hut, which is open over the summer, is mainly used for the mountain grazing of the absolute protagonists of the place, namely cows, and the dairy production and sale.
Zonta Melegna Hut offers lunch service (upon reservation) with typical products.
How to get there: follow the signposts to “Monte Maggio” from the car park near Base Tuono, located in Passo Coe; keep the right at the fork (near the road barrier).
