A Breath for Those Who Care is a public meeting dedicated to presenting a social prescription project aimed at supporting caregivers of cancer patients. The initiative was created with the goal of recognizing and valuing the role of those who take care of others, offering concrete tools to improve mental and social well-being. Through this project, care is reinterpreted not only as an individual responsibility but as a shared commitment, where the community becomes an active part in creating support networks and meaningful relationships.
During the meeting, the concept of social prescription will be explored, an innovative model that promotes well-being through connection with cultural, creative, environmental, and relational activities. The role of the link worker will also be presented, a facilitator who helps people access local resources, assisting them in building personalized paths of support and participation. The event represents an opportunity to learn more about the opportunities offered by the project and to reflect together on new ways of care based on collaboration and solidarity.
