Anthology, the first retrospective exhibition dedicated to the artist Annamaria Targher, curated by Petra Cason
The exhibition brings together twenty years of artistic activity through a wide-ranging display of large canvases, collages, textile works, and pieces dedicated to mountainous landscapes, animals, and personal memory. An intense and deeply autobiographical exploration capable of intertwining narrative strength, territorial identity, and expressive experimentation.
Among the exhibited works, the famous series dedicated to cows and goats, the references to the Austro-Hungarian forts, and the mountains of Alpe Cimbra find their place, along with the abstract and contemplative works of the Wallpaper series, which narrate the more intimate and meditative dimension of the artist's production.
