It is winter now in Alpe Cimbra and the white snow covers the tiny, secluded villages of San Sebastiano and Tezzeli.
A new year is coming and the cold wind fights against the warmth of the houses and the cosines of the villages’ lights.
The dark trees of the wood stand still right behind the village and staring at them you feel small and harmless.
You feel frightened by the wild nature but luckily, a long line of torches leads you throughout the darkness in order to reach an ancient and charming place.
The so-called “Segheria dei Mein” will be brought back to life on Wednesday 30th December, giving the unique opportunity to see how it used to look like more than 50 years ago.
Its appearance has not changed through the years and when you enter the door, you can see the same things Ottorino Tezzele used to see every day: a small sawmill with its tools, with its sounds.
An amazing dive in the local past surrounded by a charming atmosphere that will catch the attention of both adults and children.
At the end of this tour mulled wine, tea and homemade pies for everyone!
